Industry leaders will gather in Sydney in October at Eastern Australia’s Energy Markets Outlook conference to discuss the complexities of the east coast gas markets and the evolving pipeline grid.

At the 2nd annual Eastern Australia’s Energy Markets Outlook conference, being held in Sydney on the 22-25 October, Steve Davies, Policy Advisor at the Australian Pipeline Industry Association will discuss complexities of the evolving east coast pipeline grid and how the pipeline industry is evolving to match the changing significance of basins on the east coast.

Discussions at the conference will also focus on whether gas pipelines help solve anticipated supply shortages mid-decade, ways in which pipelines could help facilitate a more transparent gas market as well as examining the new developments currently “˜on the table’.

New for 2013, the fourth day of the event has been designated as the New South Wales Gas Supply Forum, which will specifically focus on the looming pricing and supply challenges for NSW.

The day will include presentations from Santos Vice President Eastern Australia James Baulderstone, Chair of Manufacturing Australia Sue Morphet, and National Secretary of the Australian Workers Union Paul Howes, among others.

Be updated on not only the challenges surrounding domestic gas supply and pricing but the entire east coast energy landscape, and ensure you have a clearer outlook amidst rising uncertainty in the national electricity market.
